Project Tzitzis Visits the Middle School Boys to Inspire Them About the Mitzvah

Middle School boys received a special visit from Charlie Breda and Project Tzitzis. Charlie Breda is a senior at Frisch and started Project Tzitzis when he was in high school with the goal of providing a pair of tzitzit to any Jew who wished to do the mitzvah. He showed the students videos and pictures of people around the world, from all different observance backgrounds, putting on tzitzit through Project Tzitzis. After October 7, Project Tzitzis provided 100,000 pairs of tzitzit to IDF soldiers who felt like they needed extra spiritual protection. One of those soldiers suffered severe burn wounds, but because he was wearing tzitzit, the burns did not reach his torso and area around his heart. Charlie gave a pair of Project Tzitzis tzitzit to every single boy in the Middle School. They immediately put it on and proudly said a bracha. Rabbi Hagler promised the boys that anybody who wears their tzitzit every single day, will receive a prize at the end of that week, until the end of the school year!
