Parents Council
Our partners. Our community.
The Ramaz School thrives because of devoted parents who work tirelessly toward enriching our children’s educational experience. The result is a vibrant and active community.
The Parents Council fosters the “student and parent experience” in all four divisions of our school. Parent representatives act as liaisons between parents and administration on school programming, help celebrate the Jewish holidays that punctuate our school year, and raise funds for important events. Whether gathering volunteers to bake for teacher appreciation gifts and showing our gratitude to our incredible faculty and staff; displaying school spirit through branded RamazWear; creating enjoyable chesed activities for Lower and Middle School students; or organizing a social gatherings for parent to connect, Ramaz Parents Council continues to explore new avenues to foster kinship and menschlichkeit.
Every Ramaz parent is encouraged to become an active member of Parents Council.

On Monday morning, September 12, the Ramaz Parents Council (PC) welcomed a record number of parents from all divisions at their annual Volunteer Breakfast. Parents enjoyed a gourmet buffet while catching up with old friends and meeting new faces. Head of School Jonathan Cannon and Head of Nursery-8 Ruth Gafni welcomed everyone and expressed their appreciation for PC and all parent volunteers. Lisa Cohen, PC President, encouraged all in attendance to sign up to help with upcoming events. If you missed this event but would still like to volunteer, please visit Ramaz.org/parentwelcome.
Parent Council volunteers gathered on Monday morning for a beautiful celebratory breakfast from Patis Bakery on the Middle School terrace. We were able to bring Ramaz events to the "Next Level'' because of the dedication of our incredible parent body. Every event we ran this year had a motivated parent committee working hard to ensure its success. We are already excited about what next year will bring and encourage you to reach out to PC@ramaz.org if you would like to get involved. Have a great summer!
