The Ramaz School has an immediate opening for a Learning Center Coordinator/Teacher for the 2026-2027 academic year. 

Responsibilities for this position include:

• Providing academic support in 1:1 or small group settings to students with diagnosed learning disabilities and/or ADHD and executive functioning deficits
• Scheduling learning center sessions for all Learning Center students both in preparation for upcoming school year and during the school year as new students enter LC and schedules are revised
• Coordinating extended time and special accommodations for all Learning Center students
• Coordinating ERB/Milestone standardized academic achievement test for students with test accommodations
• Meeting regularly with Director of Learning Center and working with Director of Learning Center to communicate regularly with faculty about Learning Center policies and procedures
• Leading weekly Learning Center meetings
• Implementing extended time and special accommodations for Learning Center students as needed
• Hiring and supervising Learning Center teachers
• Attending and sometimes running grade-wide weekly team meetings about students
• Communicating about Learning Center students throughout the year with parents, outside professionals, administration and school psychologist as needed
• Conferencing regularly with teachers regarding Learning Center students’ progress
• Participating in Parent Teacher Conferences
• Completing and processing behavior rating scales and Board of Education teacher progress reports for LC students as needed
• Preparing student progress reports and coordinating their review with Director of Learning Center
• Participating in continuing education and professional development
• Perform other duties to support the needs of the school as assigned by the Head of the Middle School

Requirements include:

• Undergraduate degree (required); master’s degree (preferred) in Special Education
• At least three years of experience teaching in a Learning Center, preferably at the middle school level
• Familiarity with technology of instruction
• A genuine enthusiasm for teaching middle school students
• The ability to communicate clearly and effectively with students, parents, and colleagues about student learning and growth.

Full Time Salary $75,000-$90,000 commensurate with experience.  The amount is prorated accordingly for a part time position.

The Ramaz Upper School, a Modern Orthodox Yeshiva day school, is looking for a full-time teacher for Hebrew Language and Literature for the upcoming school year. We are looking for a teacher who is passionate about sharing skills and expertise in the Hebrew language and Israeli culture, and who will share a love for Medinat Yisrael.

Candidates must have a work permit.

The Ramaz Upper School is looking for a Judaic Studies teacher to teach Tanakh full time (Possibility for some Jewish philosophy as well). The candidate will be a teacher with a strong knowledge of Torah and pedagogical skills who is passionate about inspiring high school students towards a deeper connection with Torah and Judaism. 

Beginner teachers are offered support and mentoring. We are interested in new teachers as well as experienced teachers and can offer growth opportunities for educators who are looking to advance their careers.

Full-time members of the Judaic Studies department are expected to attend daily tefilah (3-4 times per week) and to serve as religious role models for the students. Teachers should attend one of the Shabbatonim and should participate in the informal, religiously focused programming.

Position Summary

The Ramaz Upper School is seeking a skilled, passionate educator to join the Technology, Engineering, and Computer Science Department for the 2026–2027 school year. We are open to candidates with backgrounds across the full spectrum of our department, including computer science, engineering, design, fabrication, mathematics, and educational technology, with teaching responsibilities aligned with departmental needs and relevant areas of expertise.  The department offers a range of courses for students in grades 9 through 12, including engineering, design, coding, AP Computer Science A, Machine Learning, and senior capstone projects. The department also includes a makerspace that supports hands-on learning and fabrication.

The ideal candidate brings expertise in one or more of these areas, along with a genuine enthusiasm for hands-on, student-centered learning. Objectives

·       Support a dynamic, student-centered program in technology, engineering, computer science, design, and related disciplines.

·       Foster creativity, problem-solving, and hands-on learning among students in grades 9 through 12.

·       Contribute to the continued growth of curricular offerings in coding, engineering, design, fabrication, and related areas.

Responsibilities Include

Skills and Competencies

·       Strong instructional skills and the ability to engage high school students in meaningful learning.

·       Ability to teach and support students in one or more areas such as computer science, engineering, design, fabrication, mathematics, or educational technology.

·       Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or similar languages preferred.

·       Familiarity with Arduino, robotics, embedded systems, and/or AP Computer Science instruction preferred.

·       Experience with web or mobile application development preferred.

·       Knowledge of graphic design, visual communication, industrial design, and/or 3D design preferred.

·       Familiarity with design thinking and human-centered design processes preferred.

·       Experience with 3D printing, CNC routing, laser cutting, makerspace management, and safety preferred.

·       Ability to support hands-on, project-based learning.

·       Familiarity with faculty coaching, professional development, and educational technology integration preferred.

·       Experience with Learning Management Systems, Student Information Systems, and digital assessment platforms preferred.

·       Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Spanish or Language Education is required. Spanish Master’s degree preferred.
