Guidelines for Financial Aid in 2012-2013
On this web page you will find the financial aid application and guidelines for the 2012-2013 academic year. The information contained here will outline the various steps to be followed in the Financial Aid Application process.
In order to assist in helping us decide how best to allocate financial aid to families, we use the FACTS Grants & Aid Assessment division ("FACTS") of the FACTS Management Company to collect financial and tax information. FACTS performs an analysis and provides recommendations to the Ramaz Financial Aid Committee (the "Committee") for its review. The Committee, also using the Ramaz Financial Aid Application and documentation, will then make its final decision on determining what the family can afford to pay for tuition and fees.
Therefore, in order to apply for financial aid, each family must complete a FACTS and a Ramaz application as outlined below.
The determination by the Financial Aid Committee of what a family can afford to pay cannot be completed until all of the required documentation is received. In order to allow sufficient time to give each application enough attention, we ask that you complete your applications by March 30, 2012.

Part III - Financial Aid Determination
Please be assured that all financial aid information is kept in the strictest of confidence. The Committee is comprised solely of Ramaz employees who are senior non-academic professionals in the school.
Once both the FACTS application and the Ramaz Application are completed, the Committee will meet and determine what your net tuition and fees will be. You will then receive an email advising you of the amount of net tuition and fees to be paid for the 2012-2013 academic year.
We will be happy to meet with families who request an opportunity to speak directly with our Committee representatives. Ramaz deeply believes that financial aid is an essential expression of our values and critical for our families whose circumstances require such assistance.
